Melissa Miser, regional director for Working America, has been with the organization since 2016. A native Ohioan, Melissa joined the organization as a state director. She has spent the last decade working in the progressive movement working on political and issue campaigns as well as in the state legislature. Melissa has a Master’s of Applied Politics from the University of Akron and completed her undergraduate work at Ashland University. She resides in Columbus and is a stereotypical dog mom.
