Krissi Jimroglou develops and implements the organization's overarching communications strategy and helps lead its new initiatives, including the Front Porch Focus Group report series. As the head of communications, she directs the organization's media relations and digital teams, applying clinical research and feedback from the field to develop persuasive content. Prior to joining Working America, she worked for several advocacy nonprofits, including The Pew Charitable Trusts. There, she oversaw comprehensive national communications plans for two of their highly successful campaigns: Pre-K Now and the Public Safety Performance Project. Before that, she oversaw communications on multiple union organizing drives to unite home care workers in SEIU. Krissi holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University’s Communications, Culture and Technology program and is a graduate of Monmouth College.
