Working America Launches ’30 Days of Change’ Activism Challenge

03/31/2017

Washington, D.C. – Building on the explosion of progressive activism and grassroots energy spurred by President Donald Trump’s inauguration, Working America, the three-million-member community affiliate of the AFL-CIO, has launched the 30 Days of Change Activism Challenge to harness the escalating energy of grassroots activists across the country and encourage working class voters who are new to organizing to take action against Trump’s anti-working family agenda on the local, state and federal levels.

The campaign, which formally launched on March 16, encourages participants to make a difference in their neighborhoods by committing to taking an action every day for one month. Each action will challenge participants to talk to their neighbors, improve their communities and speak out on issues that are important to working people. Activists who sign up are emailed a new challenge every day, along with comprehensive issue and strategy guides to help support their activism and share best practices for how to become an effective advocate for the issues that matter most to them.

We can change our communities and our politics now by having conversations and taking action.  Sign up for the 30 Days of Change challenge and start making a difference TODAY!
