“It’s Not the Heat, It’s the Stupidity”
That’s the subject line of the email I just opened that links to this new video with the voices of American working people and AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.

Unemployed people, especially the 99ers, should continue to certify their unemployed status if they are still looking for work. Many official sources say not to, probably to give an illusion that the problem is over. That is good for government officials and Wall Street investors but bad for the millions of people who can not feed their families, called lazy and accused of giving up.
Many former employees are accustomed to obeying the whims of “authority” figures. If you’re unemployed and forgotten by society’s unemployment rate, how well is that working for you. No matter how many weeks of unemployment is extended, we haven’t solved the problem until the people who need to work can support themselves.
