Getting Hit by a Semi Truck

I was working as a security guard. We look into the back of semi trucks to make sure that there isn't a fork truck left in there. We had a driver that was very upset from the company that I was a guard at. When told I had to look into the back he slammed his truck into reverse and backed up into me. I called my boss and he told me I had to find a replacement or wait until the next shift came in to replace me. That was many hours away. Nobody could come in for me. Awhile after being hit I couldn't breathe, I called him and told him I was going to the hospital and he threw a fit that I didn't have a replacement, and that I couldn't leave. Luckily the company that I was guarding sent someone out to watch the place until my replacement came. He also told me that I couldn't have the next day off and that I needed to be there despite the doctors telling me I needed to be off. He even threatened to fire me. It turned out I had bruised ribs and a bruised chest wall. And this was 3 days before Christmas.
