The Grand Prizes shall be awarded as set forth in the contest rules.

The People's Choice Grand Prize Winner: Each week during the Contest Period, two entries will be selected as a "People's Choice Weekly Winner" by a vote of the general public. The top two vote-getters each week will be the People's Choice Weekly Winners. All People's Choice Weekly Winners will become eligible to win the People's Choice Grand Prize. Members of the general public vote for their favorite essay amongst all the People's Choice Weekly Winners. The top vote-getter will be the People's Choice Grand Prize Winner.

There will be three voting periods to select the two People's Choice Weekly Winners each week.

*   The first voting period for the People's Choice Weekly Winners will begin at 12:00 PM EDT on Monday, June 27, 2011 and end at 11:59 AM EDT on Wednesday, July 6.

*   The second voting period for the People's Choice Weekly Winners will begin at 12:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, July 6th and end at 11:59 AM EDT on Wednesday, July 13.

*   The third voting period for the People's Choice Weekly Winners will begin at 12:00 PM EDT on Wednesday July 13, 2011 and end at 11:59 AM EDT on Wednesday, July 20.

The two stories with the most votes selected each week will become the People's Choice Weekly Winners.

All six People's Choice Weekly Winners will become eligible to win the People's Choice Grand Prize. The People's Choice Grand Prize voting period will begin 12:00 PM EDT, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 and will end at 11:59 AM EDT, Wednesday, July 27, 2011. The winner of the People's Choice Grand Prize will be based solely on the votes cast during the People's Choice Grand Prize voting period from July 20 through July 27, 2011 without consideration of votes cast during the previous weekly contests. The top vote getter from the July 20 through July 27, 2011 People's Choice Grand Prize voting period will be the People's Choice Grand Prize Winner. Most Shared Online Story: At the end of the Contest Period, one entry will be selected as the "Most Shared Online Story Grand Prize Winner" based on the highest number of times the Entrant's essay submission is shared during the Contest Period using the Bad Boss website Facebook sharing tool. The top essay that is most shared using the Bad Boss website Facebook sharing tool will be the Most Shared Online Story Grand Prize Winner.

The alias and state of the winner of the Grand Prize in each category will be announced on the Working America website no later than August 2, 2011.

Voting on Entries for the People's Choice Award

Anyone can vote. Just click on the vote button on your favorite story to cast your vote. You can vote on as many stories as you like, but you are limited to only one vote per story in a 24-hour period.

Maybe you're the lucky one who doesn't have a bad boss story to share. That's OK-you can participate by voting for your favorites, encouraging a friend or family member to submit their story, or sending in comments on the Bad Boss Contest horror stories.

Commenting on Stories

All Working America members may comment on stories. If you are not already a member, you can become a member by commenting on a story. As with the Bad Boss Contest entries, Working America's staff may edit or not post comments deemed to be irrelevant, potentially libelous or inflammatory, or which include profanity.
