This is your toolkit for taking action to make America work for working families. The more you do, the more powerful your voice will be in winning good jobs, quality health care for all, retirement security and other top working family priorities.

The IRS is delivering checks

ExxonMobil made $19 billion in profits in 2009—but paid no federal income taxes and got a $156 million rebate from the IRS. And that’s just the tip of the corporate tax-avoidance iceberg.

Tell the top five tax avoiders you know what they’re up to with their lobbyists and their loopholes. If they won’t clean up their act, it’s time for Congress to clean it up for them by closing corporate tax loopholes and making corporations honestly account for profits made here in the United States.

I Am Working America

The lives of working people in Wisconsin and around the country are being challenged like never before.

Stand together and declare that all working people deserve...

  • The opportunity for a good job, affordable health care, secure retirement and quality public education.
  • The freedom to advocate for yourself on the job and to join together in an employee organization or union.
  • To receive their share of services for the taxes they pay.
  • An economy where big corporations and the wealthy pay their fair share as well, so that working people aren't forced to shoulder the entire burden of solving our budget problems.
